FAQ
How long does the $50 price last?
The standard price is $99 per user per month. Monthly billing is $50 while the introductory offer is available. Annual billing locks in $50 per month for 12 months, even if the offer ends during that time.
Who needs a paid seat?
Admins, users, and viewers need paid seats. People with the app viewer role can use the apps you build for free, with no limit on their number. A seat is added when an invitation is accepted. Seats added during a billing period are charged immediately for the remaining time; seat reductions take effect at renewal.
How does the included AI usage work?
Each seat contributes to your organization’s shared monthly usage allowance. It resets on your monthly billing date, and unused usage does not roll over. Seats added partway through a month receive a prorated allowance. The allowance is measured at our standard usage rates.
What are the standard usage rates?
AI usage costs 1.5 times the provider’s published API price. This rate applies to both included usage and overages.
What happens when we use up our allowance?
On a paid subscription, additional usage is billed as overages on your monthly invoice at the same rates. During the free trial, funded AI pauses when the shared $15 credit is used up; no overages are charged. You can set organization and per-member spending limits. When an AI spending limit is reached, further usage pauses until you raise it or the billing period resets. You can also set a separate monthly cap on automatic top-ups.
How does connecting Codex work?
Anyone who can chat in Fieldwork can connect their own ChatGPT subscription to use Codex. OpenAI’s subscription limits apply. Fieldwork adds no charge for Codex, and its usage does not count toward your team’s allowance. You can pause or disconnect it at any time.
Which currencies can we pay in?
Choose USD, GBP, or EUR for your organization. The introductory seat price is $50, £39, or €45 per user per month; the standard price is $99, £79, or €89. Seats and overages are billed in your chosen currency. The included usage allowance is always measured in USD.
How does the trial work?
Your 3-day trial starts as soon as you create an organization, with $15 of shared AI credit. No card is required, and you will not be charged automatically. Funded AI pauses when the trial credit is used up; trial access ends after 3 days. Choose a paid subscription whenever you are ready. You can also connect Codex during the trial.
Can we change seats or billing schedules?
You can add seats at any time and pay for the remaining billing period. Seat reductions and changes between monthly and annual billing take effect at renewal. Annual seat fees are nonrefundable.
