Report progress against our goals

Output

One goal is on track, one has stalled, and one has not started. The stalled supplier review threatens Harbor & Pine’s September buying deadline.

Checked the three goals in the August 31 Fall buying plan against evidence through September 14.

  • Complete the fall assortment by September 21: on track. The plan lists 12 product decisions. Lena’s September 11 email confirms nine approved, with three remaining on the September 14 buying review agenda. That is 75% complete. The scheduled review supports the timeline but does not establish completion.
  • Confirm supplier lead times by September 10: stalled. Two of four confirmations appear in the plan. Lena’s September 8 email says the remaining two are awaiting replies. No later confirmation was found in the available files or email, leaving this goal four days overdue.
  • Start the fulfillment checklist trial by September 18: not started. The Portland fulfillment checklist has no trial results, and Owen’s September 11 email says testing has not begun. No trial session appears on the current calendar.

Suggested next step: ask Lena for the outstanding confirmations and Owen for a trial date. Assessments reflect available records, so unrecorded work could change them.

Automation steps. The agent follows these 4 steps each time it runs, using your connected files and email and calendar.

  1.   1

Find our goals or objectives document in our files.

  2.   2

Use my email, calendar, and other available sources to check progress on each goal since it was written.

  3.   3

Identify goals that are on track, have stalled, or have not started.

  4.   4

    Give evidence for each assessment.

Adjust the automation in Chat

Run this automation and tell the agent what to do differently. Ask it to schedule that version if you want the changes in future runs.

  • Use the September cash forecast as the goals document.
  • Flag goals due within the next seven days.
  • Group progress by owner and include unresolved dependencies.

Fieldwork emails the scheduled report. Each email links to the full run as a conversation in Fieldwork. The automation asks the agent to keep a log in your knowledge base and read it before each run to check what has changed.

Adjustable schedule

Choose how often it runs at setup, from hourly to monthly. Ask in Fieldwork chat for a custom schedule and timezone.

Only useful reports

When nothing needs attention, the run skips the email. When there are findings, you get a report with a link to the full conversation.

No messages sent

An automated run has no tool that sends, posts, or replies. The agent can update notes and its log in your Fieldwork knowledge base.

Questions about this automation.

What do I need to connect?
Connect both your files and your email and calendar, then identify your goals document or let Fieldwork find it. Run the report in chat or activate the weekly schedule.
Will it contact goal owners or change meetings?
This report reads connected records to assess progress. It does not send messages, save mailbox drafts, or change calendar events.
Can I change what it checks?
Ask in chat to use a specific document, focus on certain goals, or change the evidence included. Ask for those changes in the scheduled version too.
How will I receive the report?
Scheduled reports arrive by email with a link to the full conversation, and the weekly schedule runs every seven days from activation. If there is nothing to report, no email or push notification is sent.
